    Joypurhar is a small northern district in Bangladesh surrounded by Dinajpur in the north, Bogra in the south, Gaibandha in the east and Naogaon and West Bengal of India in the west. It is just 12 km away from the historic Buddhist Bihar at Paharpur which is the largest Buddhist monastery bearing the glory and mystery of Buddhist civilization. Although small in size, Joypurhat is enriched with ethnic diversity and various sorts of natural and mineral resources. It is the sacred ground of Islamic saint popularly known as Hazrat Nimai Pir. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, Great leader of Bangladesh as well as the third world countries, took many historic decision staying in Joypurhat.

  • Abudharr Gifari College

    Abudharr Ghifari College, a well reputed multi-purpose seat for modern, moral, and quality education, is located at the heart of the city of Dhaka. It was established in the year of 1967 and was named after a follower of Prophet Mohammad(PBUH) a very distinguished Sahaba Hazrat Abudharr Ghifari (R) who was the 5th Muslim and whose whole life was dedicated for rights, reforms, and democracy of Islam. The incitation of founding institution was undertaken by somepatrons of learning namely many other local socio-political personalities along with the founder Principal National Professor Dewan Mohammad Azrof. At the very beginning in 1967, the college was housed in a rented building of Noyatola, Dhaka. After a few years, it was shifted for a larger accommodation at 172 Malibagh, Dhaka also in a hired house at the roadside.

    The present venue of the college is 192/1 Malibagh, Dhaka on about seven acres of land owned by a donation from the then president General Hossain Mohammad Ershad. The existence of college cannot be thought without the strong interferance ofr the great humanitarian leader of the nation late Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Vashani at the moment of crisis.

    Although this institution has gained a lot of undoubtedly not the ending of its vision. So, as per the master plan and today’s demand, it has to go some more steps ahead.

  • Murari Chand College

    Murari Chand University College (Bengaliমুরারি চাঁদ কলেজ) (usually referred to as M C College) was the first college in Sylhet. It was established in 1892. Since then it has played an important role in the educational, cultural, and political spheres of greater Sylhet.

It is located in the city of Barisal in south-western Bangladesh. It is expected that Brojomohun College will be upgraded to a full-fledge public university soon and will be named "Brojomohun University".

  • Carmichael College

    Carmichael College is an educational institution in RangpurBangladesh. It was established on 10 November 1916 and was named after Thomas David Baron Carmichael of Skirling.[3]

    The college is situated in Lalbag, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) to the south from zero point of the Rangpur town. Having an area of 900 bighas (298 acres), it is the largest college of Bangladesh.
